I got these for skiing and they have surpassed my expectations. Very warm, snug but not too tight, and go high enough to cover the interior of my ski boot. They are definitely recommended.

Comfortable and warm. I still wear them with another pair of sock cause my feet still feel a bit cold when I go boarding.

"Swiss Mum"
I bought these socks for my husband. He wore them on a recent skiing trip to the Alps as we live in Switzerland. We were skiing in the Jungfrau region, which has a pretty high altitude and the socks worked very well against the cold. I would recommend these.
