Nice Lightweight JacketFeb 01, 2009
By E. Crawford
"stuff i enjoy"
This is a nice lightweight rain jacket. It fits true to size (if you are on the edge, I would say it runs a tiny bit big) and just as I wanted, it has a longer length than most raincoats I looked at (it goes down a little below the toosh). It is superlight weight with no lining, is white on the inside, and has a few inside mesh pockets. The hood is nice and comes a little bit forward from the forehead, but could perhaps come out a little further so I didn't have to keep pulling it forward to avoid the rain and cover my glasses. It comes with a bag that the jacket can be stuffed into (bag is not attached to the jacket) which is about 2/3 the size height/circumfrence of a 2 liter bottle (see my extra picture for comparison).
The reason I didn't rate it a 5 is an issue I have with all of the velcro - the velcro on the sleeves often gets snagged on the velcro over the main zipper - nothing to make me not wear the coat, but annoying nonetheless.
Overall a good raincoat!
Best raincoat everAug 25, 2009

This raincoat is not only the right length is actually covers my head. For some reason many rain caots reach just the top of my head allowing my hair to get wet, thisone covers my entire head and still has room. Love it. It does get a bit warm after a while in there so I recommend it for cooler clients or cold rain. The fit is perfect. The style is pleasant. I bought it for hiking and adventure activities but I use it to go to work as well. Love this jacket.I was looking a long time for the right jacket, I'm happy I finally found it.
