My husband who is an avid skier purchased these skis in January 2012 for our four year old daughter to start beginner skiing lessons with her five year old brother. Our daughter just loves the image on here skis, as they reminder her of Rapunzel from the movie Tangled. The skis and binding are great! The skis are light and the perfect width to maneuver through the snow. The bindings are easy to adjust without having to take them to a ski shop (if you know what you are doing)to get them adjusted. There is also room on the binding to accommodate growth when you change boot sizes.
