Wondercoat!Dec 03, 2011

My wife and I will be attempting the Appalachian Trail in April of 2012. We bought this coat for her because she is allergic to down. The fit is great and flattering! She loves it, it isn't bulky and doesn't get in the way incredibly light also. It packs down great for throwing in your bag and insulates very well. The warmth is incredible and though the white has gathered a few stains, she loves it. She has even slept in it a few times without problems and has yet to get snagged. Though I would recommend only wearing this as an underlayer while in the outdoors for around town it will perform perfectly.

Bad trim on sleevesJan 03, 2011
By 1redT I just bought the Nano Puff in Fog--love the color, love the weight, hate the cuffs. Have only worn it 4 times and the stretch trim on the cuffs is already snagging and fuzzy. It's way too delicate for the job. Bummer, especially at Patagonia prices.
Perfect "light" winter jacketJan 28, 2012
By VTcabinfever This is a great jacket for warmer winter days and for when you don't want a heavy jacket weighing you down. When the temp is above 32 degrees or for shopping it is perfect. If we were to get some snow this winter it would be perfect for layering for cross country skiing or snowshoeing.
The color (turquoise) is vibrant and fun- a good alternative to my basic black. The feel is silky, well constructed, and true to size- a great fit. It is not too puffy. I almost gave it 4 stars because the edges of the sleeves appear that they may be the first part of the jacket to show wear as they are elastic encased in a piece of fabric. This is also a good feature too though because in some of my other jackets my hands are annoyingly covered by too long sleeves. In this jacket the sleeves stay perfectly at my wrists and out of the way. I am very happy with this jacket and can see myself wearing it for many years.
Fantastic !!Jan 15, 2012
By Shoshana L. Wodzisz I've had my Nano Puff Hoody (Grey) for a day and I love it already. I've been outside in 20F weather twice today and I was very warm. The hoody is great in that it zips up all the way up the neck so no drafts get down your neck. I wore it alone as well as under a jacket - it is so light weight that under a jacket you hardly know it is there. I wish Patagonia made gloves, hats, and pants like this ! The only thing lacking is a built in loop to hang it on !
ideal for travel, hiking, etc. great sweater/jacketJan 06, 2012
By Edith Best I got this in Austalia at a Patagonia shop, and I got it in off-white (which doesn't seem to be available anymore). It's less than 11oz and packs into the inside pocket, making a very small and lightweight packet. It's perfect for traveling with just carry-on luggage where one cares about bulk and weight. I can wear it on a cold morning with a shell over it, and then later put it into the pocket of the shell when it warms up. It's very warm--it's fine to about 35F if you also have a hat. Yet you can wear it inside unzipped as a sweater if it's chilly. It's very attractive, and fits well. I got a small. I'm pear-shaped, and the small is fine around my hips. The medium fit around the same around my hips, but was too loose in the shoulders.
For many years I looked for a warm sweater/jacket that was lightweight and would pack down considerably, and that would look nice even in fashionable company. This is it! I'm extremely pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone.
