why are there no hand pockets???Oct 03, 2011

Overall, these are great pants, they are water resistant, they dry super fast when they do get wet, they work as windbreakers, but don't make you sweat. I bought these because Mountain Hardwear's Winter Wander pants are the best pants I have ever owned (really, they are, buy two pairs). But, these have no hip pockets, so you can't put your hands in your pockets. It makes me crazy, especially as it is getting to be fall, a little chilly, but not glove weather, I want to put my hands in my pockets! Its not like they are 'sexy' pants, there is no need to proctect the line of the pants- why no pockets??? Other than the pocket issue, great pants.

This is a great pair of pants. They don't tear, they stay clean on the trail, this wick away water...the only issue is they don't have hip pockets. I may not need much in a hip pocket but I do need them.
Love these pantsMar 05, 2012
By Maxine lover I actually thought these where the convertable pants that turn into capris but they aren't and I love them anyway! True to size but a little short for my liking but they do look great and are very comfortable.
