Warmest mittens everJan 09, 2009
By M. Stellmack I bought these for my wife, but I already have a pair for myself. They are fantastic. We live in Minnesota and there is never a hint of a chilled fingertip with these mittens. And yet somehow they don't make your hands sweat like crazy either. They are very lightweight and not extremely bulky. I prefer gloves to mittens for the freedom of movement, but I could not survive here without these mittens. I would definitely get another pair if mine ever wear out or (gasp!) get lost. That said, mine show no signs of wearing out and I've had them for several years. I did, however, almost leave them at the post office once.

Great glove for the ladiesFeb 25, 2012
By G. Jeffries I purchase these for my fiancee. She tried skiing when she was younger, but hated having cold hands. Skiing is a huge part of my life, so getting her the right equipment was essential, so we can share the sport. These gloves were perfect for her, she didn't have cold hands all day. Granted, it was only in the high teens, low twenties, but for her that's saying something. She loves the white and the fit and quality were perfect. Only think I would change is to have them be an over-the-cuff style with a drawstring closure. I was a little hesitant with the cloth backing, but they were just as warm as my all-leather grandoes.

Co. Ski FamilyOct 07, 2012
By Briony Coady I bought these to replace a pair of Grandoe mittens I picked up at a thrift store 12 yrs ago. They are finally wearing out after 12 ski seasons! We ski every weekend no matter how cold or snowy it is and I love mittens when it is really cold. These are great because they don't have the "internal glove" that most of the new mittens seem to have so your fingers touch together inside and stay warmer.

winter glovesMar 18, 2012
By Cami Mortensen My grandson has been learning how to ski and snowboard this year. He was complaining about his gloves always getting so wet and being so cold. So, I ordered him a small pair of these Grandoe gloves which I use when I ski. They have not let me down. He has loved them and the fact that his hands stay so much warmer in these mittens than in the finger gloves. Thanks!!

The name "Two Pounder" was a put-off for me since I thought that they would be cumbersome like boxing gloves. They are lightweight and it is easy to pick up objects even if they are mittens. They are very attractive and the white color breaks up the usual dark colors that accompany a winter wardrobe.
