Rockin DK MittensNov 30, 2007
By Thad Alstrup These mittens rock with all the features I cant get over how much thought was put into the design of these things. I now know I will never get frozen fingers on the chair lift again thanks Dakine...

Great mitt in everyway with one exceptionNov 22, 2010
By J. Y. Wu Extremely water resistant. The cuff is large so it'll go over most sleeves. The one and only complaint is that instead of normal glove liners they gave you a liner that's a mitt! Those things are utterly useless and a huge annoyance to take on and off when it's freezing cold. What is the point of having a liner that you have to take off just do anything. If you grab these and replace the liners with normal glove liners, it'll be almost the perfect mitt.

Warm, Warm, WarmDec 09, 2011
By Jared L. McGriff Just to be clear, I live in Minnesota, USA so we experience very cold temperatures. I finally broke down and decided to get a more expensive pair of gloves instead of the cheap Target/Kohls garbage. These mittens fit the bill perfectly. From the inner mitten liner to the nose and goggle wipe these things are the full package. My biggest hang up on buying them was the fact that they were mittens instead of gloves. It took me about an hour to get used to it and I've realized how little I use my other fingers compared to my thumb.
Now, the whole reason to get gloves or mittens is to stay warm, and these mittens deliver. Even the inner liners are fairly warm. On warmer days here in MN (20 degrees and up) I've found that I only need the liners as my hands get too hot in the full glove. On cold snowy days when I'm out shoveling I've found that the gloves keep my hands warm, dry, and out of the snow.
Pros: - warm, so warm you'll wonder why you didn't get these gloves before - the liner gives you a nice option on warmer days as well as extra insulation on cold ones - nose and goggle wipes are convenient and useful - the gloves do a good job of keeping the snow out
Cons: - mittens instead of gloves, if you think this might be a problem wear a cheap pair of mittens around for a few days to see what you think of them - Hard to get on and off, this is not necessarily a negative as the difficulty is also what makes the gloves so good at keeping the snow out.
Keep in mind that these gloves are best suited, in my mind, for people that are around a lot of cold/snow or for anyone interested in snow sports.

Great MittFeb 07, 2011
By Eric S Hall I ordered this mitt before I went skiing in Whitefish MT. It turned out to be much warmer than expected, so the conditions were wet and sticky. They kept me quite dry for the conditions, and I used them all 3 days of skiing no problem. I live in Fargo ND and it's been very cold here lately, so I've used them for the cold end of things as well. They keep me nice and warm, even without the liner mitt, and even cause my hands to sweat a bit. I love these mitts! The only thing I don't care for much is the liner mitt they come with. They are actual mittens and I really don't use them. I owned UnderArmour liner gloves before I bought these and use them for liners instead. Overall, a great purchase. Highly recommend to any skier/boarder.

WarmFeb 27, 2011
By Andrew Dabrowski Keeps my hands nice and warm for an hour's dog walk in sub-freezing weather. On warmer days you can remove the lining.
I usually take Medium but with these mittens M was a little small for me.
