| | | | Gloves | Home » » Dakine Scout Glove | | | | | | Colors: | | | | | Description: | | Scout has such an awesome connotation in the English language. It seems to give off the air of "never stop exploring," and "If there's something left to discover, I will find it." Seems, too, only the toughest things are dubbed, "Scout:" trucks, organizations to turn boys into men, and, now, gloves. And Dakine wasn't messing around here. They named these gloves the Scout for a reason.Check the fleece lining and one hand cinch gauntlet. Whenever a glove comes with a feature including the word gauntlet and it's not a clever reference to the arcade game, you know it's a must have. I'm sure if "fleece" had a tougher moniker, Dakine would have gone with that too, but for now it will suffice. Just throw these on and feel like your hands are bulletproof while railing down the hill. By Jdawg Inserts are great, gloves are warm, buy larger size for sure, they will fit tight with the inserts inside. Wish largest size would have came in black.

The insert is the best partDec 29, 2010

These gloves are overall very good. I do wish they were a bit longer on the arm because my sleeve tends to pull back a bit, exposing some of my arm. The removable inserts are really simple and quite useful.

Lot of functions for what it is. I didn't even know they came with a pair of fleece gloves so I liked that.
I was pretty rough on them as I usually break my fall with my hands. Gloves stayed solid, did not snag or tear at all.
They look nice too!

Great Glove!Jan 15, 2011

I agree with most people about this glove being a little small. I bought a large and I have average size hands for a guy, and it seems like some of the fingers are a little short. And if I wear the liner inside of the glove I can barely move my fingers, but I haven't really needed it yet.
Other than that, they're fairly comfortable, warm, no complaints.

Fabulous Glove But Runs Small For Sure!Dec 24, 2010

This is a fabulous glove but it definitely runs small! I'm a woman and I've always worn a size large so that's what I ordered and I'm disappointed in how tight they are. Definitely measure your hand and order accordingly!
