Love them! But you can't handle much in your hands.Jan 19, 2012

I hate having cold hands when I go outside. Even the knit ones upset me because I can feel the wind coming through every little hole. These are perfect for keeping my hands warm! I can go outside to walk the dogs and my hands are in perfect temperature. I don't feel the wind at all. These are definitely a keeper! Not only that, but they feel durable and well-made. I'll have these for years if I keep up with them.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars because I do have trouble handling things in these gloves. I got the smallest size, but my hands are even a little too small for these. The tips of the fingers go at least a half an inch past my finger tips. These gloves are so thick that i can barely hold anything. I've managed to get my hands through the leash handles to walk the dogs, but doing anything else is difficult....like handling keys to unlock the door or getting a doggy bag out of the container and opening the bag. But I tell you, as long as they keep my hands warm, I can deal!

We live at 7,000 ft. elevation in southern Wyoming and my wife is from Vietnam. Being warm is a big priority for her. She likes these gloves for intermediate weather and use. She has lighter ones for driving and mittens for outdoor winter play, but these are the ones she uses the most.

These are good gloves, just not great. I tend to have cold hands, and I was looking for something to keep them warm. I even start with having warm hands before I put these on, in the hopes that they will remain so. Not so much. I work for the Postal Service and through rain, sleet, and snow (yadda, yadda), I need warmth in my hands for maximum dexterity. But, these gloves are better than the other gloves that I have tried (and I have tried many, many gloves).
I do think they would be a great "ski" trip glove, where your hands are gripping something so as to keep warmth in that portion of your anatomy.

I got these and I must admit they were very warm but the sizing was erratic. For most fingers the finger slot was too short; for the index finger it was fine. I used Columbia's size chart, on their site as the Amazon one has nothing for gloves. So my recommendation is check them carefully when you receive them. I had to return mine.
