Very Warm and Comfortable GlovesAug 16, 2010
By A. Nguyen Columbia's Wintertrainer II Glove (Men - Medium) Size Measurements - Will it fit? - For MEDIUM: -- Palm: 4.25 inches (width from thumb web to outer edge of hand) -- Thumb Web to Tip of Index: 4.375 inches -- Tip of Middle Finger to Elastic at Wrist: 8 inches
Materials - What is made of? - Shell: 100% Polyester (Fleece Material) - Palm Patch & Wrist Trim: 75% Polyester, 25% Polyurethane (Pseudo-leather) - Wrist: Elastic - *Caution:* Materials will melt or burn if exposed to extreme heat.
Washing - How can it be cleaned? - Hand wipe and line dry in shade. - Do not machine wash. - Do not bleach. - Do not iron. - Do not dry clean.
First Impressions - As I unpacked... The gloves came on a "hook card" (used to place on the hangers in stores). Under general inspection, the stitching was done well. There were no loose ends or broken threads. The shell seems flawless. No noticeable tears or defects. Similarly, the palm patch is sewn down well. There were no loose edges. As I don on the gloves, everything was smooth inside. No hard/painful seams, especially at the finger tips. I did notice, however, that if I am wearing a thick watch, the cuff of the glove just barely covers my watch.
"The Coin Test" - The thing that gloves always annoyed me. I was always annoyed when I had to take off my gloves to pick up a something small, like a coin. I donned on the gloves and tried to pick a quarter off a vinyl, tiled floor. There was a bit of struggle, but surprisingly, I was able to pick up a quarter with the Wintertrainer II gloves. No need to take off the gloves.
Other Impressions - Things to put on the backburner. - Functionality: Casual gloves. These gloves are great at keeping your hands warm in an urban/suburban setting (and possibly camping). With the fleece shell, these gloves are NOT water resistant or waterproof. Therefore, do not expect these gloves to keep your hands warm once it is wet. These gloves are not designed for and are not ideal for skiing, playing in the snow, or camping in snowy areas. However, these gloves are great for walking across college campuses in the winter, walking to work (or subway, train, bus station, etc.), or sitting in a football stadium in late fall. Also, it came with a small "s-biner" and loops so you can attach your gloves together for storage.
Recommendation - What I think ... If you are looking for a casual pair of gloves that you will use while jogging or walking, then this is it. It is priced reasonably, and the quality of the gloves is above acceptable for this price range. (I bought it for $14.89.)

Best EverDec 16, 2010
By kcmookie I am looking to replace a pair I have been wearing for the past 8 years. These are the best gloves I have ever owned. No, you don't want them if you plan on having a snowball fight, because they will get wet quickly. I sometimes jog, shovel the drive or work in the yard, but I spend a lot of time hanging Christmas Lights in the Fall & Winter and these gloves have been fantastic. Never to hot or to cool, good grip, and you are able to actually use your hands while wearing them. Maybe they are just perfect for me or for what I do, but I LOVE these.

By CPG I only have one word for it: PERFECT (for me)
This was exactly what I was looking for nothing to extreme but keeps my hands warm. I don't think it would ideal for someone liking in extreme cold climate but for some place like Chicago it should work well.
Comfortable, warm...ish.May 09, 2012
By Peter Brockie As long as you keep 'em dry these are great for the price. Pretty thin so you can't really get away with using them when there's a lot of wind, but they do work quite well.

I bought this products based on the positive reviews I read here and I was wrong. The gloves is comfortable but it is very thin and doesn't really keep you warm for too long once you are outdoor. This might be ok for a not so cold weather but in places where snow, this gloves does nothing good at all. So, if you want a really good gloves to keep your hands warm, look somewhere else. Not this one for sure.
