I debated on this and went to a local store to look at it, I worried it was to thin, but keeps the wind out and has no bulk, the kid I got it for loves it. Has a snow stopper inside around waist, coated zippers to keep wind and water out, adjustable hood, interior pockets for mp3 player, goggles, ski pass holder on arm, not so great since its covered and you have to pull it up for the ski lift operator to see but not a deal breaker, outside pocket on chest and one for each hand. Has reflective strip that comes in handy on the slopes. He wears it to school also and fits well in locker unlike some bulky outerwear.

The coat was purchased as a second coat and it has been a great coat. It is very warm, water proof, and very stylish! My son loves it. I would recommend it to anyone!

This is a top of the line winter jacket. Snow, rain.. etc. It retails for $100 in ski shops. Got it for $50 here. Cannot beat the price. Would recommend.
