I bout these poles to replace the black diamond plose that I have used for the last ten years. They are the best poles I have ever had and I'm thankfull I was able to replacethem with the same

i have had 3 pairs of these from different makers and they all had the same problem after a few hours of skiing they would slip and get shorter. This doesn't happen with this style of pole. it is a great pole very sturdy and light. the only thing i do not like is that they are a bit longer, when collapsed, than the other 3 i had. that being said they other 3 are in the trash because they all broke.
