By wassuppp I spent a month looking at different helmets and trying them on in local stores and Bern was by far the most comfortable helmet out there. All of the other ones felt like a bicycle helmet that professional cyclists use. You know what i'm talking about, one of those hard, uncomfortable helmets. Well, Bern figured out to made a sturdy helmet without sacrificing the comfort that is needed on the slopes. Not to mention it looks sweet. The built in liner is perfect for all conditions keeping you warm during night sessions, but not too warm on those sunny days riding the mountain. My philosophy is "you can break lots of bones while skiing or snowboarding, but if you break your head, your toast" so don't sit there debating on getting a helmet, do yourself a favor and buy it, because it only takes one mistake to ruin your day. Especially this helmet, because it looks good.
Aesthetically displeasingNov 26, 2011
By S. H. Khan Just got it. It fits great but is so bulky, that it makes the head look ginormous. The pink used for the straps is really loud. So, I plan to return it
comfortable, sturdy, fashionable, warmFeb 27, 2011
By kat This is the most comfortable and durable helmet I've ever had. I use this for riding my bicycle and I get compliments ALL THE TIME. It's also super comfortable and extra cozy on cold days with the insert attached. Easy to remove the insert for warmer days. I've dropped this numerous times and no cracks like normal bike helmets. I have a glossy one which makes it easy to wipe off and stain free!
Good fitting hard hat!Jul 26, 2010
By brianha42 Received the Bern Baker and promptly put it to use. This thing can take hits like no other, definitely saved me from a couple concussions. Not much else needs to be said here. When you're jumping big kickers wear this guy to ensure you don't leave the resort wondering what your name is. I wear a beanie underneath since I found it to be better than the padding that it comes with.
