Atomic is still the only manufacturer to feature Nanocarbon Technology in short ski/skiboard construction. The ETL 123cm takes perfection to the next level, with almost effortless carving and greater stability at speed, built just like their longer racing skis. No need for longer skis anymore! At Skiboards Superstore, we have received nothing but praise for Atomic's skiboards (short skis) and the bonus is zero warranties!
Nanocarbon Technology: Imagine a technology with the potential to increase life expectancy by twenty years, reduce the world's dependence on oil and unlock every skier's potential to be better. Nanotechnology, the science of manipulating materials at the atomic and molecular level, has entered the world of alpine skiing and specifiically, skiboarding. The nanoframe provides twice the stability of conventional skis with 22% more power in its return flex. Translated, these are smoother riding on all types of terrain, more lively and responsive, and provide increased stability at speed over traditional skis.
The ETL 123cm is a powerful tool for those just learning as well as for intermediate and advanced adult riders who want to rip it up and lay-it-down in breath taking carves. These 123's will tackle steeper and deeper terrain without compromising the control and maneuverability of shorter shaped skis.
The ETL 123cm features a new rounded front tip and upturned rear tail to maximize performance. The ETL has sintered bases for speed and durability, and an asymmetrical twin tip design for riding backwards and trick riding. The ETL 123's include factory mounted Atomic Race 310 release bindings (DIN 3-10) for maximum performance with the convenience of step in release bindings. Integrated lifter plates allow those lay down carves in style. Bindings are easy to adjust by hand and fit ski boots size 4 to 14 US.

Atomic ETL 123 - Great SkiFeb 20, 2009
By J. Messersmith

I have been skiing short skis for about 8 years. I mostly skied Salomon Snowblades MiniMax 99.9 and Lines 99. I found that both had great control. But found was hard to ski in deeper powder and crude. I researched the Atomic ETL 123 before buying them. I have found the Atomic ETL 123 to be great fun, with excellent control. They are great in powder, groomed, and to crude. The release bindings worked great, without adding any weight (lighter than Salomon MiniMax 99.9 with Salomon C609 release binding). I liked the Atomic ETL 123 so much, I could not sell my Salomon 99.9 fast enough on ebay. All I ski is gladed and outback areas, and will never go back to longer skis. 5' 8" 175lbs. Skiing for 15 years.

Great ski boardsNov 29, 2009

I have been skiing the salomon 99cm snowboards for several years and decided to try the Atomoc 123cm ski board to get more speed. These skis are perfect. You don't sacrifice any speed and the turns are so easy to make. If you have a beginner skier in your family or someone who has given up skiing, please have them try the short ski boards. They will LOVE skiing again.

Fast Ideal for an old dare devil skier back in the saddleNov 18, 2011

I have been an avid skier all my life. When I turned 55 I retired and bought a winter home in Colorado with my wife. I love these skies. I am an average weight male. I can easily accomplish steep hills without losing control. Even though I am an old dog I can still do tricks and these skies are perfect.
Good, but I like the head salamander better so farDec 16, 2011
By LeoSeattle I purchased both the atomic 123 and the head salamander 94. I enjoy both but the head salamander have an extra kick. I I've only used the Atomics once, and got tired fast. They are definitely more like skis. When I go up on the head salamanders I can go all day. The are so responsive that your work load to make great turns is down to nothing. So, if you are looking for shorter, more friendly skis, buy the Atomics. If you are looking for substantially more responsive and easier to turn ski boards, buy the head salamander. Ps: I have an injured meniscus that needs surgery and don't get pain on the salamanders
